Mercedes Benz. Dartford Car Showroom Overview

RG Group were appointed as the main contractor for the construction of a 2-storey Mercedes Benz new car showroom, with separate valet building and sales forecourt.

The Dartford Mercedes-Benz car showroom was successfully handed over on 9th September 2019, on schedule after a 52-week programme of build.

Showroom Features

• Displays 34 vehicles across two levels

• Includes an external terrace with vehicular ramp access to the first floor

• Equipped with 24 hydraulic car lifts

Additional Facilities

• Separate valet centre with dry and wet areas

• Software diagnostic bays

The design incorporates a drive through service reception, a ground floor vehicle workshop and ground to first vehicle ramp. A first floor showroom mezzanine was formed internally with a feature staircase, feature wall, digital screen wall and passenger lift. Additionally, office spaces and waiting lounges were constructed within the main building to accompany the service facilities. Full fitout was included within the scope of works.

Links with the nearby school were established, providing educational visits to the site and raising money through charity for the purchase of a defibrillator as a legacy initiative.

Completed on time and within budget, the project was ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rated.
